Sharon and Bob Austino are both Vineland natives. They have lived in Vineland their entire lives, raised children and are now proud Grandparents.
Their love of pets is genuine, caring for their own for over 40 years total. Presently, there is Mookie, a 13 y.o .AKC Pedigree Yellow Lab, and Hoagie, an energic and extremely handsome, 3 y.o. AKC Pedigree Yellow Lab. (He’s available to make beautiful pups if there are any available females out there… FYI)
Before retiring, Sharon spent over 40 years in healthcare management. She also held the position of Executive Director of the Cumberland County Medical Society for over 23 years. Retirement offers more time with yard gardening, gym membership, piano and last but certainly not least, enjoying endless hours with grandchildren, family and friends.
She brings her passion for life to a growing field of pet sitting, which she takes very seriously, taking the time to study and become certified through Pet Sitters International. This specialized certification demonstrates her commitment to offer the highest quality of pet sitting, keeping your pets safe, happy, and cared for with kindness.
Bob is a St. Augustine Prep Alumni, having graduated with honors. He spent many years as VP for the family lift truck business in Vineland. His exceptional skill with radio-controlled (RC) airplanes landed him an exciting job in 2005 with Navmar Applied Sciences. This adventure brought him all over the country as an FAA Certified un-manned drone pilot. As the company acquired various contracts with the Department of Defense, Bob accepted a six-month surveillance deployment in 2006 in Iraq. He is now “on call” for various trips in the US to assist with drone demonstrations for potential commercial clients.
In closing, we are excited about our new adventure. It’s something we thought about for a long time, and feel fortunate to have “embarked” (ha ha) on this endeavor. God Bless all the pets!
